First Day of School
Its technically only her first day of Kindergarten, but we made her a "SchulTuete" anyway.

and since it was Jonas' first day in his new classroom too, he got a sort of Schultuete as well.
And no one wants that screaming fit in the morning we he realizes that the big, candy filled thing is ONLY for big sister.
VACATION TIME!
We went to the beach in Destin, Florida, one of the nicest beaches in driving distance.

There was a Pirate ship cruising the beach (they offer tours on it) and we waved at it...when it turned and came towards us.
Anika was worried the Pirates would get off the ship and come and get her - better hold onto Daddy for protection.

the next day we went on a short cruise up and down the coast to spot some dolphins

And then vacation was over and it was time to go back to the real world.
